Shirakawa-cha Green Tea and Tea Leaf ships all over the world.

Our green teas are shipped directly from Japan.(https://shirakawa-cha.com/)

The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

International Shipping

Due to the ongoing reduction in transportation capacity to various countries and territories, there may be delays in the delivery of posted international packages.

For the U.S and Canada, we only offer shipment by DHL. 
Customs duties and handling fees are not included in the product price or shipping cost.

In most cases of DHL Express delivery in the U.S and Canada, customs clearance fees and taxes are billed upon delivery to the recipient.

United States Duty -15%  US$18.34 or 2% of the value of duties & taxes.
Canada - 0% duty on green tea exports from Japan.

Please double-check before placing an order if your shipping address is correct. 

  •  Shipment processing time

     All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

    If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

    Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

    You can select the shipping method when you check out.

    * EMS is not available for Australia, and France.
    * For the U.S and Canada, we only offer shipment by DHL. 

    Standard Shipping

    Air freight with tracking number.

    * Some countries are not available to use JP postal tracking service.

    Asia: 3-7 days

    *Following is how to change shipping method.

    *Your signature is required to receive the parcel. Please ask the driver to leave the parcel at your door.

    *We are not responsible for any shipping delay after transfer to local carrier or the customer's circumstances.

    *In some countries, you may be required to pay customs duties or import taxes upon receipt.

     

    •  Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

    Shirakawa-cha Green Tea and Tea Leaf ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

    •  Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

     You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped. If you choose EMS or Priority Mail Service, it will include your tracking number(s).

     Customs, Duties, and Taxes

     No sales tax(CT) for international shipping.

    Shirakawa-cha Green Tea and Tea Leaf is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping is the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

    •  Damages

    Shirakawa-cha Green Tea and Tea Leaf is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a complaint, do not accept the damaged package.

     Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a complaint. 

     


    Domestic(Japan) Shipping

    •  Shipment processing time

     All orders are processed within 2-3 days.

     We use YAMATO TRANSPORT Co. to deliver our tea with safety and as quickly as they do.

    They will deliver our tea within 2-3 days.

     If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

    Please note that delivery may be delayed due to weather conditions.

    Shipping to Okinawa may be delayed due to reduced air freight.
